The core of your body encompasses many parts, they help you move in many ways and is the cornerstone of your body movement. The area where the core exists is from the neck to the hips and even the upper thigh and includes the muscles in the back.

The core is also made of the upper and lower abdominal muscles known as the six pack . The six pack helps stabilize the trunk and the back. The six pack is also known as the Rectus Abdominis muscle. Usually when people injure their back they are trained to use the core muscles to help them stay stronger and alleviate pain from an injury that they sustained to their back. . Back pain can be helped dramatically, if the correct exercises are performed.

If you are strong in your core you will find that even simple things like just sitting may be easier. An activity as simple as sitting makes use of your core muscles. Sitting without a slouch may even help your abdominal muscles. Fun Activities that you enjoy frequently will probably benefit from core exercises. Anything that mimics the movements of your activity may benefit from exercising your core. If you golf you may find out that exercises that use the upper thighs, back and the six pack may need some strengthening. The muscles in your lower back should not be ignored since they play an important role in body movement and helps stabilize your back.

Too much exercising in the lower and upper abdominal area may cause rear back pain. You may need to get advice from a trainer or a reputable book for proper exercise techniques.

A Simple but Effective Core Exercise
A good way to exercise your core is to use a ball. You can lay on your back with your arms stretched out behind you -legs extended straight out and flat against the floor. With your arms stretched behind you a ball can be placed in your hands. Pull or pick up the ball keeping your arms straight. At the same time your legs should be moving straight up in the air to retrieve the ball. Grab the ball with your legs and slowly bring it down to the floor then bring it up again to meet your hands. Your hands and arms will then move behind your head again. This repetition should bring a definite muscle tone to your abdomen. Do it slow and methodical and do not over work your muscles, just d a few reps the first week every other day then you should be able to increase the reps as you get stronger.
Getting exercise for your core muscles and your six pack abs can really keep you feeling good. People who don’t readily use their back and stomach muscles are much more prone to injury.

To make your abs tailor made for a woman you have to exercise specifically for a womans body. Men and women have different needs and body structures, so exercising like a man may not be the best method to get your six pack abs. Cater your dietary needs based on a womans body not a mans body.

Men tend to visit the internet and try to find an answer to get a flat stomach. Advertisers know this and so do marketers, unfortunately the women suffer because they have the same needs as men do, but since the money is in the mens exercise routine there is much more information about getting your stomach flat for men. Women should not be intimidated to exercise and should have the confidence to lose their belly fat. Wouldn’t it be great to have your stomach tightened and have that flat sexy stomach?

Women tend to concentrate on weight gain more than men. Gaining weight can be mentally traumatizing. The media tends to advertise about thin waist lines more to men then to women, so there is an underlying
subliminal push and pressure most men don’t have.

Your muscle weight supposedly is heavier then your body fat, so it takes more fat to make up the weight then muscle does. Basically your muscles will use calories when working out and when they are at rest. So when you see your weight increase you have to remember not to get discouraged because, if you are working out and are eating properly, your muscle tone will improve.

You may not see the immediate results because of the hidden layers of muscle underneath your body fat. Part of your journey to achieving six pack abdominals is mental. It is partly a deprogramming process. Target your diet for muscle building and not fat building and over time improvements will show. Women by design have a tendency to build muscle less readily then men, so fat loss may be a little more important. The muscles may build slower therefore not show through your abdominal area. Once the body fat is reduced to acceptable levels then the muscle tissue will show the six pack abs that you desire.

Is it impossible to get a six pack for women? Nothing is impossible. For some it may be more difficult then others, but that holds true for both male and females. Try to tailor your workout to what your needs are even though information about female stomach exercises are not as prevalent. Cut your body fat and feed your muscles through diet and exercise.

Do you want to lose your belly fat long after you are working out? You should apply three different methods to increase your chances of achieving this goal. Strength training, detoxifying your system and making sure you
eat healthy will bring you closer to six pack health.

Strength training is good for increasing muscle size, improving muscle strength, increasing bone mass and increasing strength in your ligaments and tendons. When exercising your muscles to increase your overall strength you will find that you will lose body fat not only over your whole body, but your stomach as well. Your stomach is one of the hardest places to lose fat, so if you concentrate on your overall strength of your body, instead of worrying about your stomach, you will find it easier to lose the belly fat that has stayed with you for so long.

The American diet is probably the enemy of anyone who wants to be healthier. Cakes, cookies, salad dressings and margarine contain trans fats. Trans fats basically help maintain a higher shelf life of food products. Trans fats can be found in animal products naturally also. Saturated and trans fats increase the rate of heart disease and raise the cholesterol levels. A good example of saturated fats are: butter, bacon and sausage.
Foods that are healthy can really change the way you think and feel. Usually exercise can change your thought process and will influence the way you eat. When doing any type of training you will find that you will crave healthy foods, because all the work you are putting your time and effort into needs to be rewarded by feeding your body something it can build on. Eliminating the junk food is a first step and usually the easiest one to start. Replace it with a healthier food item.
Break down your eating habits and stop eating three big meals a day. Try to eat five to six small meals instead. Changing your eating habits may change your metabolism therefore losing fat not just in your body but your belly as well.

Since your body needs to receive so many nutrients and it will be getting a more balanced diet, it will also need to get rid of a lot of toxins that your body stores. Years of abuse may take a little time to clean your system to get back to health. Yes, exercise will play a big part in this, but there are many other ways to include to detox your system. You can use wraps, juice detoxing, water detoxing, diet changes and even the popular colon cleanses. There are many ways to clean and detoxify your body, some methods cost a little more and yet other methods will be at no cost to you. Mixing ad matching a colon cleanse with a simple diet change may help speed up the process more.

Stomach fat, belly fat or love handles. Whatever you want to call it, time and discipline is all that is needed and most importantly a desire to succeed and a desire for change to get your six pack.

So you want to get perfect abs? Getting perfect abs takes physical work and knowledge of your food intake. Eating right is probably more than half of the battle. Eating fat laden foods will just defeat the purpose of working out heavily. Do you really need to work out heavily to attain your desired result? Probably not. The way to work your abdominal muscles is to do it efficiently. Your upper and lower abdominal muscles can be isolated individually.

To work out your upper abdominal muscles you should concentrate on doing crunches. Crunches are relatively easy to perform but will really burn your upper muscle group. To perform a good crunch exercise you will need to put your hands behind your head. Lift your shoulder blades slightly up off the ground just enough to feel the burn. It is not necessary to do a full sit up exercise. The key is to concentrate on your upper abdominal muscles. Pick a spot on the ceiling and look at it while pulling up. You can make your muscles work even harder if you find a spot where you can grab a hold of an object with your feet(like a weight training bench or lodge your feet under an object on the floor). A repeated low repetition exercise will help burn the fat and feed your muscles.

Your lower abdominal muscles are developed and exercised by the lower part of your body. Leg raises are perfect when developing the lower abs. To do this exercise:

Instead of lifting your head and shoulders off the ground keep your shoulders in place and lift up your legs. Keep your hands to the side of your body to help stabilize your core.( You don’t want to wobble back and forth while your legs are moving.)

Raise up your legs while you are laying on your back and keep your legs straight. Focus on the burn in your lower stomach and then little by little lower your legs and repeat this same exercise for several times.

Your legs should be straight and lifted about a forty five degree angle, make sure you keep your legs off the ground when bringing them down.

They say the lower abs is the most difficult part to develop. However, if you do this exercise the right way, expect to have the perfect washboard abs. The lower abdominal area of your stomach usually holds the fat. It seems like its very hard to get rid of, but in fact you need to do more than lower abdominal exercises. Doing an exercise alone is not guarantee losing belly fat.

Do about eight to ten repetitions.

No abs are perfect but you can get ready for the warm weather and really make yourself look good, reduce your waist size and feel better about yourself.

Getting back pain is very limiting for people. You don’t realize how important your back is until you have a mild or moderate pain in your back. Something as simple as a sneeze or to bend over to get a drink of water can make your back twinge. The good news is that you can introduce abdominal exercises to help strengthen your stomach, firming your lower body, therefore making your back stronger too.

Some simple exercises that can help you maintain your strength and at the same time help your back are as follows.

Lay down on your stomach and raise yourself off the ground by using your elbows, forearms and hands.

Your elbows, forearms and hands should form an L shape so your shoulder would be the top of the letter L and your hands should be the bottom of the letter L with your elbow being the ninety degree angle in the shape of the letter.

The area from your elbow to your hands should be the only spot touching the ground along with your toes.

You should use some type of padding to reduce stress on your elbows and forearms case they will receive most of he weight.

Keep your hips, knees, and stomach off the ground keeping your body straight, supporting yourself so your body is parallel to the ground. Your toes should be holding you up. While you are holding this position keep your stomach tight and straight off the ground. You probably wont feel the burning sensation that you are used to when performing stomach exercises, which could be a good thing.

If for some reason you cant hold your knees off the ground you can put your knees down initially. Ideally you should be able to hold this position for about 3 minutes. Start slow and try for 30 seconds then the next time you try it increase your time, but do it gradually so you don’t hurt yourself.

Gradually like any exercise you should be able to hold your self up and you will have a stronger core, stronger abdominal muscles and therefore have a stronger back.

Your lower abdominal muscles play an important role in your strength for your back. Your lower spine and you hips benefit greatly when you exercise your stomach muscles. Its easy to forget how important your back muscles are until you get injured. Simple movements become difficult, like getting out of bed and bending over.

Anytime you perform an exercise you should be careful not to strain the areas that may cause you more problems in the future. try to find someone who has had back issues to perform them properly. Having washboard abs or a flat stomach is important for your looks and all around performance when you play sports or just want to sit with a good posture.

Isolating your lower abdominal muscles can be difficult, but getting them in shape can bring form to your body and will bring those six pack abs into view. Exercising regularly and eating properly both play an important role for these muscle groups. Losing weight will help bring these muscles visible to the surface.

Do crunches to make them strong. If you cant get the burn and isolate them then it may be beneficial to buy devices to help you max out your workout. The problem with buying them is that they end up sitting on the floor and are not used. It is easy to get motivated initially but hard to keep going on any exercise program, so if you are not sure if you want to buy a product just make sure you are a motivated person. Don’t rely on the ramped up commercial to give you the false sense of success.

Pain will either make you or break you, muscles that are not normally used will hurt but as time heals the pain should lessen and the exercises will be easier. You can get a lower six pack with the right kind of training.

If you are serious about cleaning up your body fat and training for six pack abs, then your search online has proved that you are headed in the right direction.

A flat ripped six pack abdominal area is what many people seem to want to have. Resistance training, eating right and the increase of your metabolism all come into play. If you are not a disciplined person to get six pack abs may be a little difficult, but if you are the type who sees likes to see goals accomplished then exercising and becoming firm may be a little easier for you.

Your body can be a fat burning machine with this type of discipline. Burning fat overall will help your abdominal muscles show through. You can exercise regularly but if your diet is not conforming to your work out then your muscles will not be six pack abs but will be strong without the look that you want. Six pack abdominal training takes time, effort and a desire to change the way you look more than you like eating the foods you shouldn’t digest. Metabolizing the top layer of fat should be one of your goals.

Like everything in life we need a balance. Food is important and we need to learn to like good wholesome foods not processed foods or sugar. Keep your energy at a constant level, so don’t go on those diets that make you starve.
Your sugar levels need to stay the same to maintain yourself at even levels mentally and physically. To help yourself burn fat you need to keep eating healthy. You can easily maintain your sugar level by eating small meals each day and spreading them out every two to five hours. Large meals can bog you down and make you tired. The key is not to go hungry. Eating food to sustain your current energy levels while working out may be a challenge in itself.

Chin ups, pull ups, bench press and squats are all considered multi joint resistance training exercises. If you are not familiar with this term it is more or less a way of describing movement that encompasses simply multiple areas of your physique. Spread your workload evenly. Working out with the bench press is one exercise that spreads the workout load. The bench press will work the abdominal area as well as the shoulders and arms.
Using the resistance training like this and having repetition rates less than eight or nine will help your body increase its metabolic rate. Increasing your metabolic rate increases your chance of getting a six pack abdominal area.
Long after your work out your metabolic rate will keep burning fat and you will be feeding your muscles, the lean body mass you create will work to help you feel and look better.

Your abdominal muscles are there for you to discover, all you need to do is get in the right attitude to get into the right form and change your eating habits and you will be on the right track for successful training with your six pack.
